Be a part of an innovative online research project to improve our understanding of brain injury, disorders, and diseases common in adults. The Brain Initiative is focused on investigating the causes of brain diseases and discovering meaningful solutions to maintaining a healthy brain throughout adulthood.
The mission of The Brain Initiative is to dramatically transform, accelerate, and improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of brain injuries, disorders, and diseases in a highly cost efficient manner.
In order to better understand brain disorders, we must determine how the brain changes so that we can prevent brain diseases, brain disorders and injury sequela. We need your help to make a difference.
The Brain Initiative is a collaborative research effort among leading scientific research institutions. Based in San Francisco, this initiative will be led by top researchers and professionals from UCSF.
